Job summary

Z SUPPLY in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Product Developer to drive development across Ready to Wear, Lounge, Active and Graphics. This role collaborates with Design, Tech, Production, Merchandising, Sales and Planning to translate seasonal calendars into market-ready products.

You will oversee fabric development, cost targets, and vendor communication, ensuring timely, profitable product lines while maintaining creative integrity and quality across multiple categories.

Qualifications

• Experience in women’s apparel development, swim & accessories is a plus.
• Hands-on vendor communication and negotiation experience.
• Understanding of product costing and development calendars.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of products across Ready to Wear, Lounge, Active and Graphics.
• Communicate with factories to ensure timing, price and margins align with calendars.
• Develop new fabrics and maintain fabric pricing within structure.
• Collaborate with design, merchandising, sales, tech and production throughout seasons.
• Review prototypes with designers from concept to production.
• Ensure artwork, prints, and fabrics are formatted correctly for suppliers.
• Maintain fabric content, color codes, and style information per season.
• Identify sourcing opportunities to improve quality, speed to market.
