Job summary

Barstow Community College is seeking a Game Management staff member to support home game day events for the Athletics program. This is a Short Term Temporary Assignment and a part-time position, up to 30 hours per week, with work likely in evenings and on weekends.

Responsibilities include managing the scoreboard, running game clocks, tracking and reporting statistics, acting as game announcer, and handling equipment as needed, with additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Requires reading, communication, and problem solving skills equivalent to high school education or GED.
• Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of diverse student and staff backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Manage the scoreboard.
• Run game clocks.
• Track and report game statistics.
• Serve as game announcer.
• Retrieve and give balls at games.
• Additional duties related to executing game day events as assigned by Supervisor.
