Job summary

Fox C-6 School District is seeking a Maintenance - Athletic Fields & Grounds professional in Arnold, Missouri. The role covers maintaining artificial turf, grass fields and grounds, with duties spanning equipment operation, field lining, snow removal and general custodial tasks across district facilities.

The position is 260 days per year, 8 hours per day, non-exempt, reporting to the Director/Assistant Director of Maintenance and Athletic Director.

Qualifications

Ability to read and write.
Able to perform moderate to heavy manual labor.
Must have valid Missouri Driver's License.
Ability to operate power equipment.
Work well with others.
Follow written directions.
Demonstrated aptitude for the work.

Responsibilities

Communicate and collaborate with colleagues, supervisors, staff and students.
Operate and maintain lawn care and maintenance equipment.
Maintain artificial turf fields with powered and manual equipment.
Perform lining of grass fields for multiple sport uses.
Work with outside contractors to maintain grass fields.
Snow removal including plowing, salting, and shoveling.
Clean concession stands, press boxes, bleachers, gyms and other athletic facilities.
Assist with basic maintenance repairs throughout district facilities and grounds.
Shall assist as a district custodial substitute.
Ensure prompt and proper completion of tasks.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
