Job summary

Fox C-6 School District in Arnold, Missouri seeks a Substitute Custodian to maintain a clean and safe learning environment across district facilities. This as-needed, 4-8 hour per day role reports to the Custodial Manager and Building Principal, performing routine custodial duties and light maintenance as required.

Starting immediately, work hours vary by daily assignments and location, with a pay rate of $16.83 per hour. Prior custodial experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in custodial, cleaning, or general maintenance is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and write sufficiently to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, scrubbing, disinfecting, polishing, and floor care.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies.
• Empty trash, dispose waste, and manage recycling.
• Assist with room setups and event support.
• Operate cleaning tools safely and follow district procedures.
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Help with light maintenance tasks and basic grounds work.
• Ensure buildings are secured at end of shift and maintain confidentiality.
