Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, preferred.

• General knowledge of landscape maintenance and turf culture.
• Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide cultural care of athletic turf through routine mowing.
• Assist work crews with field maintenance, repair and preparations.
• Routinely inspect turf health before and after mowing.
• Maintain inventory for equipment and supplies.
• Service mower engines and hydraulic parts.
• Follow safety procedures to maintain safety and playability.
• Transport equipment to job sites.
• Perform work order record keeping and documentation.
• Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
• Ensure compliance with policies and ethics.
• Perform other assigned tasks.
