Job summary

Alvin ISD is seeking an Athletic Grounds Worker to assist the Athletic Grounds Supervisor in maintaining all district athletic fields, equipment, and related facilities.

Requirements: High School Diploma or GED, Texas Driver's License, and at least 2 years of turf equipment experience. A noncommercial pesticide applicator license is preferred. Pay starts at $15.74 per hour; AUX PG4; full-time position in Alvin, TX.

Qualifications

Education/Certification

• High School Diploma or GED
• Texas Driver's License (Must meet eligibility requirements for AISD motor vehicle insurance)
• Noncommercial Political pesticide applicators license (preferred)

Special Knowledge/Skills

• Effective Communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English

Experience

At least 2 years working knowledge and experience in using ground maintenance and turf grass equipment.

Pay Grade:

AUX PG4
