Job summary

The South Dakota Board of Regents is seeking a facilities associate to support athletic and external events by performing event set-ups and custodial tasks. You will work as part of a team, provide strong customer service, and ensure facilities are well maintained for all activities.

Responsibilities include setting up equipment, cleaning restrooms, dusting, mopping, and snow removal from sidewalks and stairs, with lifting up to 50 lb and working at various heights.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work at heights and perform tasks such as bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, balance, climbing, squatting, sitting, twisting, grasping, and crawling.
• Lift and move up to 50 lb.
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance and contribute to a team environment with strong customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine event set-ups and custodial duties to prepare facilities for athletic and outside events.
• Set up and take down equipment for athletic and special events, including moving, lifting, carrying, and arranging furniture and equipment.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, remove refuse, dust, mop, window and carpet cleaning, waxing, scrubbing, polishing, and snow removal from sidewalks and stairs.
