Job summary

The University of Chicago is seeking a Facilities Management professional to assist in the administration of athletic and recreational facilities. This role oversees the Equipment Room, supervises staff, and helps maintain the master schedule for all facilities and events.

Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor's degree and have strong communication and computer skills, with experience in a collegiate facilities setting.

Qualifications

• College or university degree in related field required.
• Experience in facilities management or similar setting preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management of the athletic and recreational facilities.
• Coordinate and oversee inter-departmental facilities scheduling.
• Oversee the Equipment Room and supervise personnel.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and safety guidelines.
• Develop and maintain master facility schedules and event logistics.
• Negotiate and manage service contracts with vendors.
• Plan and conduct quality assurance reviews and budget analyses.
