Job summary

The University of Wisconsin-Madison is seeking a Building & Grounds Supervisor to oversee Camp Randall Stadium Complex and related facilities, ensuring safe, clean, and well-maintained operations.

You will supervise Facilities staff, manage event preparations, coordinate with vendors on capital projects, and schedule work plans to meet athletic department needs. Regular hours with some evenings, weekends, and holidays, and a high level of teamwork with university stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of supervision principles and ability to supervise skilled and semi-skilled employees.
• Experience planning, prioritizing, scheduling, and supervising multiple projects.
• Knowledge of building mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems and preventive maintenance.
• Knowledge of health and safety codes for buildings and grounds.
• Knowledge of effective public relations, oral and written communication.
• Administrative management skills including budgeting and purchasing.

Responsibilities

• Exercises supervisory authority over at least 2.0 FTE employees.
• Schedules logistics and secures resources for projects.
• Communicates goals, implements policies, and provides training for safety and compliance.
• Develops and schedules unit operational work plans.
