Job summary

The University of Wisconsin–Madison seeks a Building & Grounds Supervisor to oversee Camp Randall Stadium Complex and related facilities, managing day-to-day operations, upkeep, repairs, and supervision of Facilities staff to ensure safety and meet athletic department needs.

The role directs event setup and game-day duties, collaborates with outside vendors on capital projects, procurement and scheduling, and requires knowledge of building systems, safety codes, budgeting, and strong

Qualifications

• Knowledge of principles of supervision
• Experience planning, prioritizing, scheduling, and supervising multiple projects
• Knowledge of building mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems and preventive maintenance
• Knowledge of health and safety codes for buildings and grounds
• Knowledge of public relations, oral and written communication, and maintaining productive relationships
• Administrative management skills including budgeting, planning, cost analysis and purchasing

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff, including hiring, transfers, promotions, performance management and scheduling of at least 2.0 FTE employees
• Schedules logistics and secures resources for project completion
• Communicates unit goals and implements policies and procedures for safety and compliance
• Develops and schedules unit operational work plans
