Job summary

The College of the Holy Cross seeks an Athletic Facilities and Events Manager to oversee facility and event operations for multiple sports, reporting through the Associate Director of Athletics/Facilities, Operations & Events. This is a full-time, 2-year fixed-term appointment that is benefit-eligible and exempt.

A Bachelor's degree is required; Master’s degree is preferred. You will manage budgets, supervise student staff, and coordinate cross-department communication to support campus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
• Ability to work independently, strong self-motivation and effective time management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, detail-oriented and ability to work with diverse group of staff members
• Strong customer service with the ability to troubleshoot and handle pressure situations
• Ability to thrive in a diverse, fast-paced, student-athlete service driven environment in a collegiate setting
• Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of assigned facilities (Soccer stadium, Lacrosse stadium, and others).
• Game management for assigned sports.
• Oversight of student staff for designated events.
• Liaise between departments to balance services, quality and costs; assist with departmental budgets.
• Conceive, develop, and implement innovative processes; provide feedback to the department.
• Communicate goals, objectives and expectations aligned with the College mission.
• Other duties as assigned by the Associate Director of Athletics/Facilities, Operations & Events.
