Job summary

Town of Zebulon is seeking a part-time athletic aide to support park facilities, assist with game operations, and act as the first point of contact for visitors. The role includes scorekeeping for youth and adult leagues and basic administrative duties.

Responsibilities also include opening/closing facilities, enforcing policies, and assisting with other department programs and events while working a flexible year-round schedule including weekday evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age at time of application.
• Ability to read and understand instructions.
• CPR/First Aid Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes assigned parks and facilities.
• Acts as the first point of contact for the general public.
• Handles difficult situations involving players, coaches and spectators.
• Ensures games and practices begin and end on time.
• Fills out daily score report forms and incident reports.
• Enforces Parks and Recreation policies.
• Assists with other department programs and events.
