Primary Purpose:
Direct and manage the district's athletic program and facilities. Instruct and coach students to develop skills and abilities to excel in athletics. Provide each student with the opportunity to participate in extracurricular athletic activities and ensure compliance with all federal, state, UIL, and local requirements.

Qualifications:

• Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree, Valid Texas teaching certificate
• Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of athletic program operations, coaching techniques, federal/state/UIL policies, ability to instruct and supervise student athletes, interpret data, manage budgets and personnel, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, public relations skills, ability to speak effectively before groups.
• Experience: AD and Head coaching experience preferred but not required; successful teaching and coaching experience.
