Job summary

UVU seeks a Director of Compliance to lead the athletics compliance program, partnering with campus stakeholders to ensure NCAA and Big West adherence. The role oversees training, monitoring, and reporting, guiding risk management and regulatory interpretation.

You'll work with coaches and administrators to protect student-athlete integrity and program success. Required is a Bachelor's degree with 2–3 years in collegiate athletics; advanced degrees and NAAC/JD certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 2-3 years of experience in collegiate athletics.
  • Preferred master's degree, JD, and NAAC certification.
  • Strong writing, public speaking, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee eligibility certification and compliance monitoring for NCAA bylaws.
  • Direct educational programming and annual compliance training.
  • Interpret NCAA legislation and lead responses to inquiries, audits, and investigations.
  • Maintain athletics databases and monitor recruiting activities and forms.
  • Provide strategic guidance on compliance operations and regulatory changes.
