Job Description:

The Athletic Communications/Sports Information student employee will assist in the day-to-day operations of the Athletic Communications Department including all event/game day/contest support, all athletic department promotional efforts as well as statistical and information management.

Specific responsibilities may include scoreboard/game clock operation, scorebook keeping, public address announcing, venue/equipment set-up and breakdown, live statistical inputting, video camera operation, live stream directing, photography, gameday supervisory duties; social media, video, and website content creation and maintenance as well as general office and or remote tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must have general knowledge of or be willing to learn about and work with the MCLA's athletics programs.
• Must have general knowledge of or be willing to learn the various facets of athletic communications.
• Must have the ability to perform one or more of the specific responsibilities listed.
• Must have flexible work hours available.
• Must be willing to work some nights and weekends.
• Must be reliable and able to work independently.
