Job summary

Brasada Ranch in Central Oregon seeks an Athletic Center Associate to deliver exceptional guest experiences within 1800 acres of natural beauty. You will manage check-ins, assist with reservations for Swim, Gym, Studio, and Youth Programs, and help merchandise retail items while collaborating with multiple departments.

The role requires strong customer service, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask in a busy resort environment.

Qualifications

• Strong background in customer service and problem resolution.
• Effective oral and written communication; capable of handling high-volume inquiries.
• Certified in CPR/AED/First Aid; OLCC/food-handler permits desired.

Responsibilities

• Control access to the facility through positive customer engagements and club check-in policies.
• Answer phones, emails, and texts via the onsite concierge app Alice for Athletic Center operations.
• Book reservations for Swim, Gym, Studio, and Youth Programs; manage daily operations on property.
• Use POS software Jonas for transactions and merchandise management.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and maintain facility/deck cleanliness.
• Support other duties around the Athletic Center, including events and activities.
• Work a flexible schedule week to week.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

General Responsibilities

• Effectively control access to the facility through positive customer engagements and club check in policies & procedures.
• Answering phones, emails, and texts (through our onsite concierge app Alice) as it pertains to Athletic Center operations.
• Effectively booking reservations as it applies to daily Swim, Gym, Studio, and Youth Programs on property.
• Effective use of our Point of Sale software JONAS.
• Facilitating the check-in and check-out processes for youth programs and activities.
• Effectively merchandise, market and sell retail items to guests and members.
• Establish and build relationships with member base to understand needs and expectations.
• Effectively communicate with all departments on daily activities and opportunities.
• Adhere to all opening and closing procedures of the Athletic Center.
• Assist as needed with other duties in and around the Athletic Center, including (but not limited to) maintaining facility and pool deck cleanliness, serving food, facilitating poolside activities, stocking locker rooms and fitness facility with appropriate amenities, etc.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule week to week.
• Perform additional responsibilities and duties as assigned.

Requirements

Skills/Traits

• Effective oral/written/telephone communication skills and well-developed project management skills.
• Knowledge and enthusiasm for Central Oregon.
• Strong background in customer service and problem resolution skills
• Experience working in an upscale hotel / resort setting suggested
• Ability to seek and build relationships with members, guests and the local community.
• Ability to multitask and maintain composure under multiple / high-volume demands.
• Time management and organization skills required.
• CPR/AED/First Aid Certification required
• OLCC Server’s Permit desired
• Food Handlers Permit desired
