Under supervision, you will help with course planning, monitor progress, and refer students to campus resources. You will also participate in orientation activities and present information about the university to prospective students.

Responsibilities

• Provides academic advice and guidance to students on degree programs, academic schedules, course schedules, and course planning.
• Monitors student progress and degree requirements; verifies completion of degree requirements.
• Refer enrolled undergraduates to resources for admissions, financial aid, housing, student services, and study skills.
• Responds to inquiries from students and parents; liaises between colleges and university offices.
• Meets with freshman and transfer students during orientation; directs students to correct departments for assistance.
• Gives presentations about the University to visiting groups and provides admissions information.
