Job summary

Epic Sports Biomechanics, LLC, part of the ATS family, is seeking a Performance Specialist, Program Development in Newtown, PA. You will collect, process, and analyze biomechanical data and help develop individualized athlete development programs designed to improve performance and reduce injury risk.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in a related field and 2+ years of experience with athletes across multiple sports.

Qualifications

  • Requires Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field (Kinesiology, Biomechanics, Exercise Physiology, Sports Science).
  • 2+ years of experience working with athletes across multiple sports and competitive levels.
  • Experience developing progressive athlete development or intervention programs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with collection, processing, and analysis of biomechanical evaluation data.
  • Conduct physical assessments and screening protocols for movement, mobility, strength, power, and injury evaluations.
  • Collaborate with Epic staff to interpret biomechanical results and translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Develop and monitor individualized athlete development programs to improve performance and reduce injury risk.
  • Execute and oversee athlete training programs in-person and remotely.
  • Utilize motion capture systems, IMUs, pressure mapping, high-speed video, and tracking tools.
  • Monitor progress and adjust development plans based on objective data.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure readiness of technology platforms.
