Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods in Annapolis, MD is seeking an Event Associate to deliver athlete-focused service during in-store events and sponsored camps. You will provide thoughtful product recommendations tailored to each athlete’s skill level and help the Field Lead run clinics and programs.

You’ll build relationships with local schools and leagues, support staff training, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and promote warranty and loyalty programs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience preferred.
• Customer-service oriented.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide thoughtful product recommendations fit for each athlete.
• Support Field Lead/Coach with in-store events and off-field programs.
• Build relationships with local schools and community groups for partnerships and events.
• Collaborate with Community Team to bring clinics and camps to the Field.
• Assist with teammate training and coaching to deliver the store vision.
• Adapt priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Adhere to loss prevention standards.
• Promote warranty sales, loyalty programs, and seasonal promotions.
• Provide consultative product knowledge to athletes.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
