Cohu, Inc. in Norwood, MA is seeking an ATE Test Systems Support Engineer to keep our semiconductor automated test equipment running in the Engineering Lab. This hands-on hardware/software role supports test systems, testers, and RF/analog/digital measurement equipment used by our hardware, software, and applications teams.
You will diagnose tester-level hardware and software issues, track lab spares, and work directly with engineers to maximize uptime. Path to Field Service is possible.
Cohu's Norwood Engineering team is looking for an ATE Test Systems Support Engineer to keep our semiconductor automated test equipment (ATE) running in the Engineering Lab. This is a hands-on hardware/software role supporting test systems, testers, and RF/analog/digital measurement equipment used by our Hardware, Software, and Applications Engineering teams. You'll diagnose and resolve tester-level hardware and software issues, track spares for lab equipment, and work directly with engineers to keep test systems at maximum up time. Over time, this role has a path toward supporting our Field Service organization on the same equipment.
Candidates should have direct experience with test equipment, ATE, or electronics hardware.
Compensation: The estimated base pay range for this position is $85,000-$100,000 per year, depending on qualifications, experience, education, and other job-related factors. This range represents Cohu’s good faith estimate of what it reasonably expects to pay for this role upon hire. This role may also be eligible for other compensation programs as determined by company policy.
