Job summary

Broadcom’s ASIC Products Division is seeking an ATE Test Development Engineer for the Fort Collins Development Center in Colorado. You will develop test programs for Advantest 93K/ExaScale testers and SmarTest7/8 OS, and work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and optimize test flows.

Responsibilities include RMA diagnosis, characterization tests, and deployment of innovative test methodologies. Requires 8+ years in electrical engineering and hands-on testing experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in electrical/electronic/computer engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Advantest/Teradyne tester platforms and SmarTest8.
• Ability to independently develop test programs including complex test flows.
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot failures with cross-functional teams.
• Analyze root-causes through electrical/thermal analysis and present findings.

Responsibilities

• Develop test flows and validate test programs at ATE.
• Perform RMA diagnosis and create characterization tests to identify failures.
• Drive R&D activities to deploy new test methodologies across tests.
• Support qualification testing and failure verification per specs.
• Analyze test results and present reports to multiple teams.
