Job summary

Wipro Limited is seeking an experienced test engineer for ATE setup and SOC characterization in Santa Clara, CA. The role focuses on executing tests, collecting data, and supporting hardware checkout using Advantest and related systems.

Qualifications

• VLSI board design experience required.
• 1–3 years of experience in relevant roles.
• Experience with ATE setup and testing is essential.

Responsibilities

• Set up and test using ATE equipment (Advantest Verigy/93K, Smartest 8).
• Execute and collect data for SOC packages.
• Support engineering activities with testing, program and hardware checkout.
• Operate Thermostream for characterization.
• Tweak load board setup to enable functional testing.
• Calibrate and maintain test equipment (ATE, hardware).
• Characterize debug traces using CRO and multimeter.
• Maintain logistics, storage and tracking of load boards, test samples and socket boards.
• Proficiency with Linux is required.
