Job summary

Infotree Global Solutions in Sterling Heights, MI is seeking an ATE Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and deliver automated test equipment for military vehicle hardware validation. You will create hardware interface schematics, develop LabVIEW routines, and coordinate builds for test equipment fabrication.

The role requires a 7+ year electrical/electronics/computer engineering background, proficiency with LabVIEW, GPIB, USB, LXI, PXI, and programming in C++, Python, or Visual Basic.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronics, or computer engineering with 7+ years of applicable experience.
• Experience using LabVIEW software, GPIB, USB, LXI, and PXI bus instruments.
• Programming proficiency in C++, Python, or Visual Basic.
• Capable of operating test instrumentation (power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscopes, DMMs, function generators, and DAQs).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Project, OneNote, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

WORK LOCATION: Sterling Heights ,MI

Position Description:

This individual will be responsible for the design, development, integration, and delivery of specialized Automated Test Equipment to validate and verify functional performance of military vehicle hardware.

Tasks include:

• Develop hardware interface schematicsand material part lists
• Develop test equipment-controlled software routines using LabView
• Coordinate material builds kits and support technicians with test equipment fabrication
• Verify test equipment and test software supports product requirement compliance
• Support quality reviews for designed test equipment and test software
• Design new components and make improvements to existing test equipment
• Ensure analysis is related to the design, development, and implementation of components.
• Develop test strategies, devices, and systems
• Develop test reports from captured data using Labview
• Work with other members of the engineering staff to ensure the product meets its requirements.
• Good problem and troubleshooting skills
• Create electrical design drawingsand develop electrical cable drawings
• Assembly of automated test consoles and related equipment / cables
• Maintain and organize associated engineering labs
• Perform hardware and software code reviews and assist with troubleshooting

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering with a minimum of 7+ years of applicable experience.
• Experience using LabView software, , GPIB, USB, LXI, and PXI bus instruments
• Experience programming with C++, Python, or Visual Basic will be considered
• Capable of operating test instrumentation, including power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscopes, DMMs, function generators, and DAQs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Project, OneNote, and PowerPoint)
• Prior work on military ground-based vehicle systems is a plus
• Able and willing to travel domestically but not required
