Job summary

Saic is seeking a Full-time Air Traffic Control Instructor for the Portland TRACON (P80) in Oregon. The role involves supporting FAA air traffic controller training services, delivering classroom and hands-on lab training, and mentoring students.

Applicants should have at least five years of experience as a FAA Certified Professional Controller and must hold a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as FAA CPC certification. Ability to maintain a Public Trust clearance is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum of five (5) years of FAA CPC experience controlling live traffic.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance is required.
• Direct experience as CPC at Portland TRACON (P80) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and simulation lab training to various students.
• Mentor students and RPOs and participate in curriculum design.
• Ensure training services meet needs of local facilities and FAA.
