Job summary

Smart1 Management Solutions, LLC is seeking a Remote Pilot Operator (RPO- EnRoute) to join the CTS team, partnering with SAIC at the Jacksonville ARTCC to support FAA instructor training.

The RPO will operate a simulated radar display and voice system, translating information for proper ATC phraseology and coordinating with students during training exercises in a high-fidelity environment.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• High School Diploma.
• Experience in ATC Tower/TRACON/En Route simulation lab.
• Effective oral and written communications skills.
• Working knowledge of FAAO JO 7110.65.
• MS Office Suite proficiency and tablet/notebook familiarity.
• Familiarity with pilot/controller communications or phraseology.

Responsibilities

• Operate a remote ATC training simulator as pilot and controller.
• Translate data into ATC terminology and respond to students via VCS.
• Input actions in the automated system to simulate pilot activity.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on training scenarios.
