Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced Full-time ATC Training Lab Manager to join the CTS team at the Dallas-Fort Worth TRACON (D10) in Dallas, TX. The role oversees lab operations, schedules, and equipment for FAA ATC training simulations and coordinates with course managers and instructors.

The Lab Manager will ensure readiness of equipment, manage scenario development, and direct contractor staff as needed to maintain uninterrupted training services.

Qualifications

• Effective oral and written communications skills.
• MS Office Suite proficiency (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining a lab schedule and being the focal point for lab scheduling changes.
• Ensuring lab equipment is ready for use as transcribed in the schedule.
• Scheduling start/stop times for scenarios and data inputs for simulations.
• Monitoring training positions for proper operation and reporting malfunctions.
• Supporting scenario development and maintaining lab operations at the facility.
• Configuring the lab to meet specific training requirements and managing lab training files.
• Planning, coordinating, scheduling and directing operations and resources for training simulation labs.
• Developing and maintaining the simulation scenario library and updating simulator capabilities.
