Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced, Full-time Advanced TRACON (Level 10 or greater) Air Traffic Control Instructor to join the SAIC Controller Training Solutions (CTS) team supporting FAA training services. Position based at the FAA Academy in Oklahoma City, OK.

The instructor will deliver hands-on training, maintain TRACON simulation lab certification, and perform as a TSEW/TETRA Instructor-III for diverse ATC students, under public trust requirements.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Minimum 3 years FAA CPC ATCS experience at a civilian TRACON or equivalent facility at level 10 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality training to a wide variety of developmental ATC students.
• Serve as TSEW and/or TETRA Instructor-III in the Terminal Radar Domain at the FAA Academy, Oklahoma City, OK.
• Demonstrate strong technical skills with ATC automation and simulation systems; obtain TRACON simulation lab certification.
• Coordinate with FAA personnel to meet training needs and FAA mission objectives.
