Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Marlborough, MA seeks an experienced Systems Engineer for our Air Traffic Systems (ATS) ATC team, onsite in Marlborough with an option for Omaha. You will perform networking, integration, and documentation to support development, maintenance and deployment of complex aerospace systems.

The role requires a STEM degree, 5+ years of experience, ability to obtain FAA clearance, and travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree with 5+ years experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years experience.
• Experience with design, integration and test of complex systems and best practices.
• Experience with systems integration and test and best practices.
• Experience delivering technical documentation to stakeholders (drafting, reviewing, updating materials, test reports).
• Experience with automated test tools and customer/offsite test locations.
• Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
• U.S. citizenship is required; FAA clearance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform networking and integration activities for development, maintenance, and deployment of the system.
• Create and manage system engineering documentation (design memos, specs, diagrams, ICDs, test requirements/plans).
• Conduct data analysis and develop analysis tools.
• Make technical decisions to drive project success and support decision making.
• Perform trade studies for new technologies and roadmap insertions.
• Plan and document formal qualification tests; estimate engineering effort for tasks.
• Support other engineers with technical issues.
