Job summary

SAIC's Controller Training Solutions (CTS) team in Indianapolis, IN seeks an experienced Casual Air Traffic Control Instructor-II to join the FAA training program at the Indianapolis ARTCC (ZID). The role focuses on delivering high-quality classroom and simulation-based training for developmental controllers and CPCs.

The successful candidate will mentor students, assist in curriculum design, and aim to obtain FAA radar and non-radar simulation certifications.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Minimum of five (5) years of FAA CPC experience controlling live traffic or recent experience as a contract Instructor at an FAA facility.
• Experience must be at the same type and same level as Indianapolis ARTCC (ZID).

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality classroom and/or simulation training to a wide variety of students.
• Mentor students and Remote Pilot Operators (RPO) as needed.
• Assist in curriculum design and development for training programs.
• Obtain radar and/or non-radar simulation laboratory certifications as required.
