Qualifications

• Associate degree or 48 college hours required.
• Paraprofessional Certification required upon employment.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English and Spanish.
• One year of school-based experience preferred.
• Experience with at-risk students preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource to principals and teachers for Children At-Risk programs.
• Assist individuals or small groups of students in assignments in an inclusion setting.
• Coordinate instructional activities with teachers, such as reading tests and remediation.
• Maintain a high standard of ethical behavior and confidentiality of student information.
• Assist in clerical duties related to the Children At-Risk Program.
• Follow district customer service standards.
