Spring ISD Careers seeks an At Risk Assistant Principal for Wells Middle School in Houston, TX. The role focuses on supervising instructional programs and campus operations for students identified as at‑risk, with emphasis on intervention and academic support.

You will work closely with the principal, teachers and support staff to raise achievement, reduce drop‑out risk and promote a positive school climate. Requires leadership, data‑driven decision making and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Texas Assistant Principal or other administrative certification.
• Three years’ experience as a classroom teacher.
• Preferred: three years’ experience as a campus administrator.

Responsibilities

• Supervise instructional programs and campus operations for at‑risk students.
• Provide support to at‑risk teachers, Student Support Specialists and administrators.
• Identify, prevent, intervene and manage at‑risk students per state criteria.
• Collaborate with principal to set campus goals and monitor progress.
• Maintain records and use data to drive school improvement.
