Job summary

MacDonald‑Bedford LLC seeks a detail‑oriented Anti‑Terrorism/Force Protection engineer to support federal and infrastructure projects. The role focuses on AT/FP implementation, compliance with DoD and federal standards, and collaboration with project teams to mitigate threats.

Ideal candidates have DoD/AT‑FP knowledge, experience in technical drawings, and travel readiness; multicertifications and security clearances are valued.

Qualifications

  • AT Level II certification (minimum); CPP, Physical Security or Military Police preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in Anti‑Terrorism/Force Protection, military security, or law enforcement.
  • Working knowledge of DoD AT/FP regulations (e.g., DoDI 2000.16) and physical security standards (e.g., UFC 4‑010‑01).
  • Citizenship of the United States.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide CMS for pre‑construction award functions, QA and contract administration.
  • Must be able to travel; potentially relocate within the Pacific Region for up to 1 year.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to develop solutions across all phases.
  • Provide AT/FP support on construction, renovation, and infrastructure projects per federal standards.
  • Conduct Threat and Vulnerability Assessments (TVAs) of project sites and environments.
