Precise Systems Inc. in Crane, Indiana, is seeking a Production Sonobuoy Engineer (PSE) to oversee AN/SSQ-series sonobuoy production, ensuring design, manufacturing, quality and reliability requirements are met. In-person role requiring up to 5 travel days per month and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities include interpreting performance specs for contractors, monitoring QA/reliability, and reviewing ECPs for hardware changes while collaborating with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in a relevant engineering field.
• Minimum three years relevant experience in QA/manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret contractor technical documentation.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical interpretation of performance specification requirements.
• Monitor quality assurance and reliability of production.
• Maintain engineering and technical requirements for design and manufacturing.
• Review contractor ECPs and recommend hardware changes.
• Assess ECP changes for configuration item impact and testing.
• Communicate effectively and work in a team.
