Job summary

Aerodyne Industries, LLC is hiring a Training Systems Technician to support COSMOS at Johnson Space Center. The role involves hands-on setup of full-scale spacecraft mockups, configuration, operation, troubleshooting, and coordination with instructors and customers.

You will work in a dynamic environment supporting ISS, Orion, CST/Boeing, EVA, and other programs, ensuring safe, ready training capabilities and timely responses to issues as they arise.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with willingness to learn and adapt.
• Ability to follow procedures, checklists, and safety rules.
• Must be able to obtain NASA PIV badge and complete required training.
• Experience with training environments, equipment setup, or aerospace ops is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and tear down training configurations for SVMF classes and events.
• Inspect, install, configure, operate, restore, and store training equipment and mockups.
• Support ISS, Orion, CST/Boeing, EVA, and other mockups per procedures.
• Ensure safety, document status, and communicate with instructors and customers.
• Troubleshoot equipment and respond to discrepancies per channels.
