DeLisaGroup is seeking an Assurance Supervisor/Manager with a CPA and 3–7 years of public accounting experience to lead audit and assurance engagements in the Greater Hartford area. This hands-on supervisory role will involve mentoring staff, ensuring engagement quality, and providing exceptional client service.

Responsibilities include managing engagements, reviewing workpapers, overseeing budgets, and communicating with clients to identify additional service opportunities.

Qualifications

• CPA is required.
• 3–7 years of public accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Communicate directly with clients and identify additional service opportunities.
• Maintain accurate project status and ensure timely completion.
• Research accounting matters and stay current with professional standards.
• Provide guidance and support to staff on complex accounting and assurance matters.
• Maintain strong client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor.
• Ensure engagements are completed accurately and in accordance with professional standards and firm policies.

Salary: $95,000–$150,000/year, depending on experience

About the Role

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.

Typical non-busy-season hours are 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with flexibility when needed. Busy-season hours may vary.
