Job summary

CohnReznick in Los Angeles is seeking an Assurance Senior Manager to lead CHAMP Group engagements with consumer, hospitality, and manufacturing clients. This hybrid role blends office collaboration with remote work, supporting a diverse team of associates, managers, and partners.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in public accounting, CPA status, and strong communication to manage complex audits and proposals while delivering value to clients and the firm.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in a public accounting firm.
• Non-profit experience required.
• CPA licensure achieved or eligibility to sit for the exam.
• Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of audit software such as CaseWare or ProSystem FX.
• Exceptional organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the engagement lead on specific client accounts.
• Take responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables.
• Develop detailed engagement work plans.
• Illustrate budgets and schedules.
• Actively participate in proposals.
• Manage a team of staff associates, including interns, while providing regular performance coaching and feedback.
• Gain the respect and confidence of the CRZ team through effective client management, timely and accurate communication, and clear and concise direction and leadership.

This position will support our CHAMP Group. The CHAMP Group provides services to consumer, hospitality, and manufacturing clients. You will work on a team with other Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners. This team has a passion for what they do and a focus on consistently delivering value to our clients.

In Illinois, the salary range for Assurance Senior Managers is $95,000.00 to $160,000.00. Salary determination will vary based on factors such as a candidate’s geographical location, qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies.
