Job summary

CohnReznick, a national professional services and real estate advisory firm, seeks an Assurance Manager to join the Atlanta office in a hybrid capacity. You will contribute to the Affordable Housing Group, delivering high-quality assurance engagements and client service.

The role requires 5+ years in public accounting, CPA licensure, and strong leadership skills; you will supervise staff, review financial statements, and ensure compliance with US GAAP and PCAOB standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in another public accounting firm.
• Experience with US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards.
• Strong analytical, technical, and communications skills.
• CPA licensure required

Responsibilities

• Drive client engagements
• Review and prepare financial statements, footnotes, workpapers, management letters, agreed upon procedures, and other attestation engagements
• Demonstrate professional creativity in dealing with client matters and make constructive suggestions to improve client operations
• Effectively analyze client transactions, recognizing and resolving potential or existing problems with appropriate research and consulting
• Accept responsibility and utilize firm resources to complete assignments
• Oversee, mentor, and develop staff

YOUR ROLE.

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To

• Drive client engagements

Your Experience.

The successful candidate will have:

• 5+ years of work experience in another public accounting firm
• Technology experience preferred
• Exceptional analytical, technical, and auditing skills including knowledge in US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB rules and standards
• Bachelor’s or Masters Degree in accounting required
• CPA licensure required
• Exceptional client service and communication skills
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent written interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Demonstrates an Entrepreneurial spirit
• Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of audit software such as CaseWare or ProSystem FX preferred
• Exceptional organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills
