CohnReznick invites you to join the CHAMP group as an Assurance Senior Associate in Sunrise and Boca Raton. You will lead audit engagements for manufacturers, distributors, and hospitality clients, shaping strategies and ensuring quality across the engagement lifecycle.

The role emphasizes collaboration, client service, and professional growth within a hybrid work model that supports in-office collaboration about three days a week.

• 3+ years of public accounting audit experience.
• Manufacturing and distribution industry knowledge preferred, especially with inventory.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• CPA licensure achieved or eligible to sit for the exam.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead day-to-day audit and assurance engagements for CHAMP clients (manufacturers, distributors, hospitality sectors).
• Assist in engagement planning, risk assessments, and development of audit strategies and work programs.
• Perform and review audit procedures across cash, revenue, inventory, fixed assets, and related areas.
• Coordinate engagement activities, monitor status, and ensure timely delivery of deliverables.
• Track budgets and timelines, identify issues, and communicate progress to leadership.
• Supervise and mentor staff, providing coaching and training.

We currently have an exciting career opportunity for anAssurance Senior Associateto join the Consumer, Hospitality and Manufacturing (CHAMP) team in ourSunrise and Boca Raton office.

CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid, which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.

YOUR TEAM.

This position will support our Consumer, Hospitality and Manufacturing (CHAMP)Group. CohnReznick’s CHAMP Industry practice serves manufacturers, distributors, aviation companies, restaurateurs, hotels, and food and beverage operators, with advisory, accounting, and tax services to support growth strategy and to increase controls and profitability through all stages of the business lifecycle. You will work on a team with other Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners. This team has a passion for what they do and a focus on consistently delivering value to our clients.

YOUR ROLE.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Lead the day-to-day execution of audit and assurance engagements for clients in our CHAMP industries (manufacturers, distributors, aviation companies, restaurateurs, hotels, or and food and beverage operators).
• Assist in engagement planning, risk assessment, and the development of audit strategies and work programs.
• Perform and review audit procedures in significant financial statement areas, including but not limited to, cash, revenue, inventory, fixed assets, business combinations, intangible and goodwill impairment, share-based compensation, debt, and leases.
• Coordinate engagement activities, monitor project status, and ensure client requests and deliverables are completed on a timely basis.
• Track engagement budgets and timelines, identify potential issues, and communicate progress and risks to engagement leadership.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop staff associates and interns through ongoing coaching, feedback, and training.
• Detail review staff workpapers for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with professional standards and firm methodology.
• Identify accounting and audit issues, perform technical research, and collaborate with engagement management to develop practical solutions.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication, responsiveness, and exceptional client service.
• Develop a thorough understanding of the manufacturing, distribution, cannabis and/or hospitality industries, including emerging business trends, operational challenges, and accounting developments affecting clients.
• Leverage firm technology, data analytics, and audit tools to enhance engagement quality and efficiency.
• Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities to deepen client relationships and expand firm services.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment that promotes professional growth, innovation, and excellence in client service.

YOUR EXPERIENCE.

The successful candidate will have:

• 3+ years of work experience in another public accounting firm
• Manufacturing and Distribution experience preferred, specifically with inventory
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• CPA licensure achieved or eligibility to sit for the exam
• Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of audit software such as ProSystem FX and Inflo
• Exceptional organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills
