Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking an Assurance Senior Associate to join our growing public accounting practice in Atlanta. You will deliver industry-focused audit and assurance services to middle-market clients, with opportunities for upward career trajectory and flexible work arrangements.

As part of a collaborative team, you will engage directly with clients, oversee engagement activities, and contribute to client service excellence while developing technical accounting skills and leadership

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing assurance and consulting services to industry-specific clients.
• Proactively engage with clients throughout the year to gather information and respond to questions.
• Plan and supervise the execution of all audit engagement activities.
• Review and perform substantive testing on clients' balance sheets and income statements.
• Conduct and review tests to assess deficiencies of internal controls and make recommendations for improvement.
• Play an active role in discussions with the Manager and Partner regarding business recommendations from testing and gathered information.
• Learn and grow from on-the-job coaching and participate in firm-wide learning and development programs.
• Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and with clients.
• Support the growth and development of team members through Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy.
