Job summary

Leoforce, a leading public accounting and advisory firm, is seeking an Assurance Senior in Cincinnati, OH to lead audit engagements and related assurance procedures.

You will supervise and train staff and interns, prepare financial statements and workpapers, and communicate with client personnel to ensure timely, accurate results while monitoring budgets.

The role offers mentorship, growth opportunities, and is open to CPAs or candidates who have passed at least two CPA exam sections.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in assurance engagements.
• Ability to supervise and mentor junior staff.
• Strong communication with clients and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Execute audit, review, compilation, and other assurance procedures
• Prepare financial statements and related documents
• Perform testing and analysis of accounts and controls
• Oversee fieldwork procedures on assigned engagements
• Supervise and review the work of assurance staff and interns
• Train and develop assurance staff, providing timely feedback and identifying coaching opportunities
• Consult and communicate with department leaders and client personnel to complete engagements
• Lead client and team interaction to ensure efficient flow of information
• Complete assignments within budget, and monitor and report actual hours against budget
• Prepare accurate, neat, organized, error-free workpapers
• Identify process improvements that create efficiencies on client engagements
• Comprehend and summarize complex issues and perform technical research
• Participate in approved non-client initiatives to improve firm administration
• Represent the firm and build relationships through outside activities
