Job summary

Boos & Associates in Long Beach is seeking an experienced Assurance Manager to lead planning, execution, and completion of assurance engagements while upholding quality and client satisfaction.

You will supervise staff, manage client relationships, and contribute to firm growth through service delivery and business development. Active US CPA license and prior Big 4 or national firm experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of public accounting experience.
• Active US CPA license required, with ability to obtain US CPA license if international equivalent.
• Experience supervising staff and managing multiple engagements.
• Strong leadership and client communication skills.
• Experience in external audits, preferably in Big 4 or national firm.
• Ability to drive business development and engagement profitability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, field work, and wrap-up of audit engagements.
• Manage engagement profitability including billings and collections.
• Advise clients on regulatory risks and GAAP/GAAS issues.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop staff; ensure quality and compliance.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
