Join BDO USA as an Assurance Manager, Accounting Advisory & Outsourcing.

Job Description: The Manager in AAO oversees the full lifecycle of finance and accounting outsourcing engagements, including proposal development, staff management, work review, and financial performance. Responsibilities also include client relationship management, financial reporting, billing, and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage engagements, perform general ledger reconciliations, and produce financial statements.
• Understand and explain client technology systems supporting finance functions.
• Conduct discovery meetings, design solutions, and determine project costs and benefits.
• Advise clients on technical accounting issues and financial policies.
• Review and update solutions periodically, manage conflicts, and support change management.
• Gather and organize client information, and build strong relationships.

Business Development: Develop strategies, recommend solutions, evaluate client risks, and identify new opportunities.

Developing Others: Foster a culture of accountability, train staff, participate in recruiting, and support professional growth.

Project Management: Create work plans, manage billing, scope projects, and oversee client satisfaction.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervise staff, review work, and act as a career mentor.

Qualifications: Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics required; MBA or Master’s preferred. 6+ years of accounting experience, supervisory experience preferred. CPA is a plus.

Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, accounting software, strong communication, analytical skills, GAAP knowledge, organizational skills, and ability to travel up to 25%.

Salary Range: $105,000 - $125,000, depending on location and experience.
