Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor or masters program in Accounting.
• Pursuing a masters degree in Accounting preferred.
• Leadership experience is preferred.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication, teamwork, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Participates in a structured on-the-job training program and becomes familiar with GAAP and GAAS.
• Becomes familiar with BDO audit methodology to assist with audit stages.
• Provides support functions to the audit staff during engagements.
• Communicates with clients and related parties regarding audit issues.
• Prepares and documents work using BDO templates and tools.
• Contributes ideas to audit teams and responds to input from others.
• Completes an assigned accounting or audit research project and presents findings.
• Performs other duties as required.
