BDO USA, PC is seeking an Assurance internship candidate in Fort Lauderdale, FL. You will join a structured training program to learn GAAP/GAAS and assist the audit team with engagement support while gaining exposure to client interactions.

You will document workpapers, contribute ideas to team discussions, and complete an audit research project presented to senior staff. This role emphasizes learning and collaboration within a professional services firm.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Accounting; required.
• Pursuing a master’s degree in Accounting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Participates in structured on-the-job training in GAAP and GAAS.
• Assists with audit processes and uses BDO tools and templates.
• Provides support to audit staff during engagements.
• Communicates with clients’ customers, creditors, banks on audit issues.
• Documents work in working papers using BDO templates.
• Contributes ideas to audit teams and discusses views with colleagues.
• Completes an assigned accounting or audit research project and presents findings.
• Performs other duties as required.
