Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Masters program in Accounting (required).
• Pursuing CPA credentials and continuing education credits.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Participates in a structured on-the-job training program and become familiar with GAAP and GAAS.
• Becomes familiar with BDO audit methodology to assist with audit processes.
• Provides support functions to the audit staff during engagement.
• Communicates with clients and related parties concerning audit issues.
• Prepares and documents work using BDO tools and templates.
• Contributes ideas to audit teams and responds to team views.
• Completes an assigned accounting or audit research project and presents findings.
• Other duties as required.
