The University of South Carolina Aiken, an NCAA Division II Institution, is seeking an Assistant Softball Coach. Under the direction of the Head Coach, the Assistant Coach is responsible for assisting with all aspects of a competitive NCAA Division II program.

Under the direction of the Head Coach, the Assistant Coach is responsible for assisting with all aspects of a competitive NCAA Division II program. The successful candidate will recruit student-athletes who have the ability to succeed academically and athletically, while promoting, developing, and maintaining positive relationships with the faculty, staff, students, and community. In addition, the Assistant Coach will assist in fundraising, organizing and running team practices, weight training, and conditioning sessions, and will coordinate study halls and other academic support areas for the student-athletes along with other duties as assigned by the head coach. The duties will be done in strict compliance with USC Aiken, Peach Belt Conference and NCAA rules and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 3 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Preferred: Master’s degree and three years of collegiate coaching experience preferred.
Contract: 12.0 month full‑time position.
Salary: commensurate with qualifications and experience.
