Job summary

Flowtec Construction in Chicago is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join a well-established real estate developer delivering ground-up multifamily and diverse commercial projects. You will work across development and construction teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Constructon experience within a real estate/development or GC environment.
• Experience with either multifamily/high-rise or commercial interiors.
• GC or developer experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and project documentation.
• Aspires to take on more responsibility and grow into a PM role.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers from preconstruction through final turnover.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and project documentation.
• Assist with project budgets, schedules, cost tracking, and forecasting.
• Coordinate closely with Superintendents, subcontractors, architects, and consultants.
• Participate in project meetings and help drive day-to-day project execution.
• Gain exposure to both the development and construction sides of projects.
• Take on increasing project ownership as you progress toward Project Manager.
