Casino Fandango, L.L.C. invites applications for the Assistant Executive Steward role in Carson City, NV. This hands-on leadership position supports the Back of House Executive Team to lead the stewarding crew, maintain sanitation, and manage non-food equipment across casino restaurants and banquets.

You will recruit, train, schedule, supervise staff, ensure health and safety standards, and coordinate with chefs and management to ensure smooth kitchen operations and events.

Qualificações

• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in stewarding or a related hospitality role.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety practices.
• Ability to train team members and support implementation of new processes or systems.
• Solid organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in recruiting, training, scheduling, and supervising stewarding staff, including dishwashers and cleaners.
• Support daily operations to ensure dishwashing, sanitation, and food preparation areas meet all health and safety standards.
• Help implement and maintain standard operating procedures and preventive maintenance programs.
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, chinaware, glassware, and kitchen equipment; assist with ordering and requisitions.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is clean, properly maintained, and stored correctly.
• Enforce compliance with company policies, health regulations, and safety standards.
• Partner with chefs and management to ensure seamless kitchen operations and equipment availability.
• Support banquet and special event setup and breakdown as needed.
• Step in to lead shifts and operations in the absence of the Executive Steward.
• Perform other duties as assigned
