Job summary

Caretel Inns St. Joseph is seeking an Assistant Director of Assisted Living to support the Director in overseeing daily operations of the ALF and memory care unit. This salary-exempt role emphasizes leadership to promote continuity of care and quality service.

Assistant Director of Assisted Living

Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Nurse Assistant is not required but is a plus!

PURPOSE: To assist the Director of Assisted Living to oversee and manage the daily operations of the assisted living and memory care Inns, through the implementation of goals and policies of the Facility and Department of Nursing at the management level. To develop a cohesiveness unit and a continuity of care for guests; to maintain organization and supervision of the unit while delivering optimum level of care. This involves supervision of the unit on a twenty-four (24) hour basis, seeing that each shift promotes continuity of care. Shift hours are 3:00pm to 11:30pm but be able to work all shifts as needed. Able to be on-call, alternate with the Director and/or as needed. This is a salary exempt position, and the attendance policy applies to the position. Any deviation must be approved ahead of time by the Director of Assisted Living.
