University of Northern Iowa's Counseling Center seeks a licensed mental health professional to provide clinical services, supervision oversight, and a caseload of clients. You will ensure ethical, quality care and support the director in training and compliance with standards.

The role entails initial triage, risk assessment, crisis management, individual/group counseling, psycho-education, and referrals, within a collaborative campus setting.

Formación

• Master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy or related field.
• Current Iowa licensure as a mental health therapist or licensed independent social worker.
• At least three years of clinical experience related to counseling or assessment and diagnosis.

Responsabilidades

• Provide clinical services and training oversight to ensure quality, ethical care.
• Assist the Director in clinical supervision and compliance with ethical and accreditation standards.
• Carry a clinical caseload including triage, risk assessment, crisis management, counseling, psycho-education, and referrals.
